Emilie grew up in a musical home playing the piano since first grade and also singing, and as she grew older she became more involved in music, singing in high school, college and adult choirs in both school and church. Emilie also loves children. Ever since she was young she had a desire to work with children in some way. This desire led her to pursue a degree in Elementary Education with a focus in Early Childhood. After college she was a full-time nanny for 3 years through which she was introduced to the wonderful Kindermusik program when she took the children she cared for to their Kindermusik classes. At that time the desire began to grow to become a Licensed Kindermusik Educator. Emilie started Kindermusik with Emilie in October of 2010 and began with just 7 children. By 2023 Kindermusik with Emilie has over 300 children enrolled in her program and has three other licensed Kindermusik Educators who teach classes for her program. Her studio has also grown into a full-blown music school, offering private music lessons in piano, voice, guitar, ukulele, violin, & cello instruments, with a team of 7 private lesson teachers. As a trained and licensed Kindermusik Educator, Emilie loves sharing her love of music with children and their families through the amazing Kindermusik program. Emilie and her husband Daniel love living in Kenosha with their 7 year old daughter, 6 year old son, and their Westie, Benny.
