In the fall of 2010, Emilie started Kindermusik with Emilie (now called Harmony Music School) in the beautiful lakeside city of Kenosha. She began her program with 2 small classes of 7 children. As of 2023, Harmony Music School is now offering over 30 classes each week as well as private instrument lessons and reaching over 250 children per week with both private studio classes and our private music lessons.
Each year, Kindermusik International recognizes Educators through the Kindermusik MAESTRO Program based on excellence in several categories. Its purpose is to provide continuing support and recognition for this distinctive group of Kindermusik Educators. MAESTRO Educators are also in the top 5% of all Kindermusik programs. Only a year after starting, Kindermusik with Emilie received MAESTRO status for the 2011-2012 year as well as the following years from 2012-2013, 2013-2014, 2014-2015, and 2015-2016. We are even more honored that for 2017, 2018, and 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023 we have earned an even more elite status of Maestro: Conductor's Circle, putting us in the top 1% of all Kindermusik programs world-wide. Currently we are #16 world-wide! Kindermusik with Emilie’s goal is to earn the Maestro award each and every year by continuing to provide the excellence in teaching that Kindermusik families in Kenosha have come to love and appreciate.
